Kam Duncan, M.Ed., LPC-S

Kam entered the counseling field after raising her children and serving in various ministries at her local church. Personal life and ministry experiences led her to recognize a passion and calling to help others. She has undergraduate degrees from Victory University in Psychology and Biblical Studies (2012) and a graduate degree from The University of Mississippi in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (2014). She became a Licensed Professional Counselor (MS 2042) in 2015, opened Remedy Soul Care, PLLC in 2016, and became a Licensed Professional Counseling Supervisor (MS 658) in 2026. On the weekends, Kam takes every chance she gets to be around her husband, children, grandchildren, friends, water, and in season, Ole Miss football.

Kam’s client population is adults – individual and couples. She has specialized training in EMDR (Level I and II), IFS Level I, DBT, Perinatal/postpartum, and Christian counseling. As a life-long learner and therapist committed to ongoing professional development to serve clients well, she has completed various trainings in Polyvagal theory, Somatic therapy, Gottman Method, Attachment theory, and in addressing the specialized needs of First Responders.

Insurances: Most major Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Med Ben, and UHC/Optum plans. Kam does not accept Medicare or Medicaid.

Session Fees: $155-175 for 53-55 minute sessions

 

 

Matt Yglesias, Student Intern 

Matt is entering the counseling field after practicing for over sixteen years as a physical therapist. During his physical therapy career and involvement in pastoral care within the local church, he began to recognize a desire and calling to care for others walking through difficult seasons, prompting him to return to school to obtain a graduate degree in mental health counseling.  Matt is currently enrolled at Colorado Christian University, pursuing a Masters in Clinical Mental Health, but also holds a Masters of Physical Therapy degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and an undergraduate degree in Biology from Millsaps College. 

During his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, as well as watching college football, exercising, and working on various projects around his house. 

Matt’s clinical interest and experience is in addressing anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, life transitions, pre-marital and marriage counseling, and communication difficulties. As a counseling student, Matt will be under the supervision of Kam Duncan, M.Ed., LPC-S. 

Matt sees teens age 16 and up and adults – individuals and couples.

Session Fees: As a Student Intern under supervision by Kam Duncan, LPC-S, Matt is able to provide reduced self-pay services of $40-75 for 53-55 minute sessions.
